It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Proficiency Exams
Each incoming student is required to demonstrate proficiency in English, mathematics, and computer skills. For most students, this proficiency is assessed through an exam given as part of the registration process at the beginning of each semester. Transfer students who have tested out or have taken the equivalent at another institution are exempt. Courses are offered in English, mathematics, and computer skills for those who do not illustrate an acceptable level of proficiency. The English exam also serves as a placement test to determine in which English course the student needs to enroll.
