The credit hour is the unit of instruction at NBBC. A minimum of one 50–minute class period per week in lecture classes constitutes one hour of credit. A minimum of two class periods of laboratory work per week also constitutes one credit hour. A semester is 15 weeks in length including final exams. NBBC also offers three one–week undergraduate sessions—two in May and one in January for the equivalent in semester hours.
