Endowments: Typically larger gifts invested and whose earnings are used to fund designated purposes such as student scholarships, missions, and academic chairs.
Annual Fund: Funds that are unrestricted as to use, and provide the most flexibility for Northland to direct to the most immediate opportunity.
Student assistance: Northland currently underwrites in excess of $1.5 million annually in various student scholarships. Funding this assistance is significant in ensuring the assistance can continue into the future.
Capital projects: Funds that will be used to revitalize the aging dormitories and dining hall, as college student room and board fees do not adequately provide for these needs.
