Students Attending College for the First Time
A prospective freshman student should secure an application packet after he completes his junior year of high school.


Step 1—Secure an Application for Admission by one of the following methods:

a. Contact the Admissions Office by calling 1-888-4-NORTHLAND or (715) 324-6900, ext. 3100.
b. Write to the Director of Admissions, Northland Baptist Bible College, W10085 Pike Plains Rd., Dunbar, Wisconsin 54119.
c. E-mail a request to admissions@nbbc.edu
d. Fill out an Online Application Form

Step 2—Fill out the Application for Admission completely and send a nonrefundable $50 application fee to the Admissions Office.

Step 3—
Arrange to have three Personal Reference Forms completed and returned to the Admissions Office.

a. These forms are included in the application packet or may be filled in with an Online Personal Reference Form
b. One Personal Reference Form must be completed by the pastor of the church you are currently attending. The other two Reference Forms may be completed by non-family members of your choice.


Step 4—Arrange to have an official high school transcript sent to the Admissions Office. A Request for High School Transcript Form is included in the application packet or can be pdf downloaded (PDF file) (73.71 KB)from this website. Step 5—Take the American College Test (ACT ) and have the score reports sent to the Admissions Office. Because Northland participates in the American College Society Program, high school graduates are required to take the ACT. The Application for Admission may be submitted before taking the test. It is recommended that the test be taken by November of the high school senior year. A bulletin of information and a blank application with the dates of administration and fees may be obtained by writing American College Testing Program, P.O. Box 414, Iowa City, Iowa 52243. The ACT code number for our institution is 4623. These test scores are useful in processing a student's application and in advising him during his college career. (NBBC may also accept score reports for the SAT in lieu of the ACT.)

Step 6—Complete a Medical Form and an Immunization History Form ; and submit them to the Admissions Office.

a. These forms may be attained by contacting the Admissions Department at 1-888-4-NORTHLAND or (715) 324-6900, ext. 3100.
b. Each applicant must have had a physical exam within 12 months prior to applying and must have all immunizations current.
